Sylvester Jader

In Real Estate since Jan 2007. Prior to this, I was in the Singapore Armed Forces - for 17 years (Since 03 Jan 1991) serving in several appointments: Chief Seaman(Buffer), Radar, Command & Control, Basic Naval Course Trainer, Recruitment Specialist with the Career Centre, Squadron Operations Warrant Officer and Defence Relations & Policy Warrant Officer.

I am married to Sharon Chong since Dec 2001 and we have four children together - two girls and two boys.

Because of my very Asian looks I blend into almost every spectrum of races/nationality within the region - Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, India, Myanmar, etc.

Main passion is early intervention of youth at risk especially those without adults role models in their lives. My aim is to start a youth centre to reach out / befriend these youth effectively empowering them to transform their lives and impact society in a manner that is meaningful.

I am also involved in Community programs for fostering better relationships through weekly accountability groups. Such involvements had brought me to the Tenah Merah Prison fellowship where I delivered messages of hope to the inmates and I also follow up with them as they are reintroduced back into society.


I am a very hands on person so I work on my classic motorcycle replacing mechanical parts myself. I am also a thrill-seeker and enjoy the adrenaline rush so in my spare time - enjoy motorcycling on the road race circuit in Johore Bahru.
