SRX just launched its latest innovation for Singapore households, enabling members to connect with their next door neighbours as well as others living farther down the street or nearby - all without leaving their own doorsteps - The “SRX Community”. It creates digital communities for members’ apartment blocks and their immediate neighbourhood, enabling them to keep up to date about what is going on around them.
SRX Community is much more than a tool to connect neighbours. It builds on the "MySG Home" service already provided by SRX, which empowers Singapore residents to track the sale and rental value of their homes and be notified of nearby property transactions, as well as apply for loans and insurance coverage. The free service has been highly popular, with Singapore residents already tracking more than 192,000 homes on the SRX App and srx.com.sg, and thousands more joining every month.
In the SRX Community, members will be automatically given access to community groups based upon their tracked addresses. With a substantial number of homes already tracked on SRX, members will find that most community groups are ready-made with many of their neighbours. Jason Barakat-Brown noted “when members login to the SRX App, they can see the number of members in each of their communities, including their building or block. They’ll probably be surprised to see many how many neighbours are already members.” To protect the members’ privacy, personal details are not shared by SRX in the community.
