The Edge on Cairnhill is a condominium building that is located at Cairnhill Road in District 9. It is a well built condominium. The project was completed in 2003 with a total of 46 units available for rent. The condominium is located close to public transportation that allows residents to move easily from one place to another from the condominium. There are many shops and amenities close to the condominium which would ease the process for residents and they do not need to go far to find what they need. The 46 units condominium development is conceptualised as three slender towers linked by bridges to the service core.
Solid curved walls establish a dynamic inner relationship between the towers while an outer transparent wall of glass opens the apartments to the panorama of the surrounding cityscape.
The focus of each apartment is the dramatically cantilevered circular living space that appears to challenge one’s perception of inner and exterior. Shading devices on the facade filters light penetration into the apartments and give the towers an added dimension of interest.
