Bishan Town, is a planning area and matured residential town located at the northernmost point of the Central Region of Singapore.
Bishan is connected by road to the rest of Singapore via the Central Expressway, a major expressway connecting Northern parts of Singapore with its city centre.

The Bishan North Shopping Mall is a non-air conditioned complex of shops that comes with a wet market. It specializes in the sale of day-to-day products.
Education:
The town is also home to two of Singapore's most prestigious educational institutions, Catholic High School and Raffles Institution.
