Who Am I?

I was in the shipping industry but didn’t envision myself growing a viable career there. Hence, I joined ERA . Soon, I managed to build a network and receive referrals mainly from clients. When you build relationships with clients and provide them with valuable service, they will naturally return the favour, especially when there is higher supply than demand in the market. Rapport is very important.
Consumers are more knowledgeable and tech-savvy nowadays. Therefore, we need to keep learning about new platforms and ways to become more efficient. For instance, the ERA SG Projects mobile app helps us in presentation to clients as information is readily available at our fingertips.
A good mentor is crucial in propelling career growth. I am grateful to my mentor who has guided me over the years and always a pillar of support. Financially stability and being able to provide for my family equates to success and a happy life. I believe in time management between family and work and knowing how to prioritise to maintain a work-life balance.
Switching jobs after 6 years in the shipping trade was really a life changing experience as I had to leave my comfort zone.
