The nation’s first integrated community and lifestyle hub is in Tampines, Tampines Hub offers dining, retail, programmes and services such as the Public Service Centre, Festive Mall, Hawker Centre and Community Auditorium under one roof.
The Public Service Centre offers services from government agencies. Residents will also enjoy a 5-storey regional library, a 20-court badminton hall, 6 swimming pools and a 5,000-seater stadium with a FIFA-approved football pitch.
There will be a 24-hour 800-seater hawker centre, featuring self-order kiosks and automated tray return stations, selling each food item at a low price.
Tampines Hub houses several unique recreational activities such as Singapore’s first climbing wall theme park and the Laser Quest. The climbing wall theme park offers 19 climbing challenges which are 8 metres tall each. The Laser Quest features action-packed specialised quests and is voted to be the best Laser Tag arena by Parents World Magazine.
Tampines is also Singapore's first cycling town to have a complete bike path, linking Tampines Changkat Community Club, Tampines Round Market and Food Centre, as well as the HDB neighbourhood shops. New dual bicycle racks have also been installed around Tampines.
