There are plenty of options at the nearby Compass One, where there are over 40 different restaurants, cafes and fast food joints. But my favourite mall in Sengkang is Seletar Mall, where there’s a cinema and even Hai Di Lao!!! Easily head on over – it’s just four stops down the line at Fernvalue LRT station.

If you’re one for nature and keeping active, the North-east is the spot for you. Close to you is the Sengkang Riverside Park which you can jog or cycle at, and also the Sengkang Sports and Recreation Centre, where there’s a hockey field, gym, sports hall and swimming complex. Head on over to Punggol and you can enjoy the breeze at Punggol Jetty or take a hike or cycle through Coney Island!
Parents will also take delight in the fact there are several schools in the area, namely Springdale Primary, Nan Chiau Primary, and Compassvale Primary and Secondary. Plus, for those with elderly parents, you can have a peace of mind knowing that Sengkang General Hospital is close by should there be any medical emergencies that need attending to.
