- Year-on-year, overall rents increase by 11.4% from December 2020.
- Year-on-year, rents in CCR, RCR and OCR increase by 11.6%, 10.1% and 12.3% respectively.
- Rents are down 6.7% from the peak in January 2013.
- Volumes decrease by 1.0% month-on-month. An estimated 4,512 units are rented in December 2021 as compared to 4,559 units rented in November 2021.

The total rental volume in the year is 58,613, which is an increase of 6.8% from 2020.

Year-on-year, rental volumes are 4.4% lower.

Volumes are 9.0% higher than the 5-year average volume for the month of December.

Breaking down by regions, in December 2021, 39.7% of the total volumes are from OCR, 30.7% from RCR and 29.6% from CCR.

December 2021 HDB rents increase by 1.4% from November 2021. Mature and Non-Mature Estates rents increase by 0.1% and 2.8% respectively. 3 Room, 4 Room, 5 Room and Executive rents increase by 0.8%, 1.9%, 0.8% and 1.1% respectively.
- Year-on-year, overall rents increase by 10.4%.
- Year-on-year, Mature Estates and Non-Mature Estates rents increase by 8.3% and 12.5% respectively.
- Year-on-year, all room types record rent increases: 3 Room by 8.9%, 4 Room by 10.2%, 5 Room by 11.2% and Executive rents by 8.8%.
- Rents are down 3.8% from the peak in August 2013.
- Volumes decrease by 1.2% month-on-month. An estimated 1,770 HDB flats are rented in December 2021 compared to 1,792 units in November 2021.
