1. January 2020 rents increase 0.9% from December 2019. CCR, RCR and OCR rents experienced 1.4%, 0.6% and 0.7% increases, respectively.
B. HDB Rental Market
1. January 2020 HDB rents increase 0.8% from December 2019. 3 Room, 5 Room and Executive rents rise by 1.7%, 1.6% and 1.8% respectively, while 4 Room rents fall by 0.6%. According to Town Maturity, Mature Estates and Non-Mature Estates rents increase by 0.7% and 0.9% respectively.
2. Volumes decrease 5.1% month-on-month. An estimated 1,653 HDB flats are rented in January 2020 versus 1,741 units in December 2019.

B. HDB Rental Market
1. January 2020 HDB rents increase 0.8% from December 2019. 3 Room, 5 Room and Executive rents rise by 1.7%, 1.6% and 1.8% respectively, while 4 Room rents fall by 0.6%. According to Town Maturity, Mature Estates and Non-Mature Estates rents increase by 0.7% and 0.9% respectively.
- Year-on-year, rents increase by 2.0%.
- Rents are down 13.5% from the peak in August 2013.
- All room types experience rent increases year-on-year: 3 Room by 3.0%, 4 Room by 1.3%, 5 Room by 1.6% and Executive by 2.7%.
- Mature Estates and Non-Mature Estates rents increase year-on-year by 1.4% and 2.6%, respectively.
