I have been in this industry for over 20 years. My career started when my ex-boss took me to view a few shophouses in Emerald Road he wanted to invest in for the company. I was captivated by the architecture and beauty of many places I visited and wanted to see more. I eventually left my job in the company and joined a real estate company so that I could pursue my career. As they say, the rest is history. Since then, I have learned about the different property types, their uses, prices, and values, and what each can do for individual buyers or investors.

In the earlier days, when many overseas companies made Singapore their centres for their businesses, the apartments were huge and values high: I am still assisting companies and their expatriates in finding accommodation for their staff, but now these huge apartments are lesser and maybe even rare and prices many folds over. I have seen two market cycles and enjoy meeting different buyers’ sellers and tenants of different profiles, to understand their needs and motivation to either buy, sell, or rent. It is a career that I find both passionate and rewarding.
